Rooney coming to the end
Wayne Rooney’s Manchester United career looks to be coming to an end.
No longer a regular and often left out of squads completely, Rooney was reportedly close to leaving for China last month, but finally stayed put.
Powerless to stop the fading of his powers, Rooney’s confidence has also been badly hit, having lost his place for both club and country.
And with United playing just fine without him, it seems he may not have a long future left at the club.
Now that he’s broken the club’s goalscoring record and with the team moving on without him, it seems it may be finally time for him to leave.
Set for Everton return
According to the Mirror, he’s set to finally leave this summer – and return to former club Everton.
Although he was initially dubbed a traitor for leaving his boyhood club, that’s all water under the bridge now, and Rooney would be welcomed back at Goodison with open arms.
And they’re apparently ready to offer him 150,000 pounds a week – a pay cut for Rooney, but still massive money for a player of his waning ability.
